McWilliams Bulldogs
This all started around thirty years ago. My husband, George, was an avid hunter and raised
hound puppies. I always complained about him spending money on his dogs, so one day he
says to me, " Why don't you get your own dog." So I did. On October 1, 1979 I bought my
first bulldog. "Dot's Dutchess Lug" came from Larry Sullivan in Raleigh, MS. Then I went to
Columbia, MS and bought two more adult bulldogs from Mr. David E. Lewis. They were
"Sugar Queen Yogi" and "Lisa's Little Tattie." I also bought a young male, "General Duke
Patton", from Mr. Lewis. My first breeding was to an outside male. The first litter was born
on December 14, 1979. Tattie whelped six puppies.  It was then that I fell in love with the
breed and began to keep exceptional females out of future litters. The rest is history. I am
still very excited about my dogs today and with the help of my husband and grandson,
Brady, have been able to continue to raise these wonderful animals.
